FAQ
What types of therapy do you offer?
I work with both individuals and couples. My approach is personalized, focusing on the unique needs and goals you bring to therapy.
What issues do you commonly work with in individual therapy?
I help people such as concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and feeling stuck in old patterns.
How can couples therapy help my relationship?
Couples therapy creates a safe space to improve communication, work through conflict, and rebuild trust or connection.
How do I know if therapy is right for me (or us)?
Many people come to therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. If you’re wondering, that’s often the best sign it could help.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your hopes, and what feels most important right now. It’s also a time to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
How long does therapy usually last?
There’s no set timeline. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific concern, while others stay longer to explore deeper patterns or ongoing growth. We’ll discuss your goals together and check in along the way.
Do you offer in-person and online sessions?
Yes. I see clients in person at my Pasadena office and also offer secure online sessions for those who prefer the convenience of meeting virtually.
Do you accept insurance?
I don’t work directly with insurance, but many clients use their out-of-network benefits. I can provide a monthly statement (“superbill”) that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
What is your session fee?
My fee is $345 per session.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at the full fee.
How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me (or us)?
The best way is to schedule a first session. Most people quickly sense whether the fit feels comfortable and supportive.
What is your therapeutic approach?
My style is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I draw on psychodynamic and relational approaches, always tailored to your unique needs.
