Why Go To Therapy

Life rarely unfolds the way we expect. At different stages, we’re often asked to grow in unexpected ways, and those moments can feel exciting, overwhelming, or painful.

If you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, weighed down by invisible wounds, or longing for something more, you’re not alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and help you step into a fuller, freer version of yourself.

Real change starts with showing up just as you are.

My Clients

The people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and open to reflection. Many are navigating seasons of change — in relationships, career, or identity — and want a space to slow down and understand themselves more deeply. Some come to therapy feeling dissatisfied or stuck, despite outward success. Others are seeking relief from anxiety, burnout, or the quiet sense that something important is missing.

They’re drawn to therapy not only to feel better, but to live with greater alignment, and make choices that reflect who they truly are.

My Approach To Therapy

In psychodynamic therapy, change happens through an active and collaborative process.
Together, we’ll look for patterns, connect the dots, and begin to see the fuller picture of your life. We will pay close attention not just to what you’re experiencing on the surface, but also to the unconscious meaning beneath those symptoms. This way of working helps illuminate what’s been hidden, so lasting change can take root.

No matter where you are on your journey, you will find a safe space here to be authentically yourself, reveal what is ordinarily concealed, and find what brings you true fulfillment.

What I Believe

Much of what shapes our experience operates below the surface of our conscious awareness.

As we explore our thoughts and emotional experiences, we discover what has been obscured from view and gain greater insight into the beliefs that perpetuate the patterns in our lives.

The value of therapy lies in experiencing a relationship that encourages honesty and self-reflection.

Safe, trust-based therapy allows us to freely express ourselves honestly – and with that freedom comes the chance to be understood in a deeper way.

Deeper self-awareness allows us to navigate life better and respond to events by conscious choice.

When we identify the beliefs that may be inhibiting our growth and fulfillment, we are better able to take a more empowered approach to our personal and professional lives and pursue deeper authenticity.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I change.
